Fan history is not billing
Fan imports and Passport invitations are history workflows. They can prepare badges, invite records and Fan Passport identity, but they never create payments, subscriptions, invoices or paid access.
Trust starts with clear boundaries.
ClaimYourRank is designed so fans can understand what they are doing: claiming a Fan Passport, supporting a creator, buying creator access or appearing publicly on a Fan Season. These actions are intentionally separate.
The ClaimYourRank trust model
Fan Passport history, support, access and paid offers have different meanings and different consequences.
Donations are not access
Direct support has 0% ClaimYourRank platform fee. It is voluntary support only and does not unlock Community Rank, paid rewards, Support Passes, gated posts or media drops by default.
Commerce is explicit
Paid creator offers include Support Passes, paid rewards, media drops, bundles and gated access. They use a 10% ClaimYourRank platform fee on the pre-tax offer amount and can unlock access only when the offer says so.
Community Rank is not a money leaderboard
Community Rank should reflect belonging, activity, supporter history, Fan Actions or creator-approved recognition. It must not be presented as a public spending race.
Payments and seller responsibility
Creators sell through their connected payout account where checkout is enabled. ClaimYourRank provides platform tools and may collect platform fees from eligible paid creator offers.
Creators remain responsible for their offer descriptions, fulfillment, refunds, tax obligations and connected-account readiness.
Direct support: 0% ClaimYourRank platform fee.
Paid creator offers: 10% ClaimYourRank platform fee on the pre-tax offer amount.
Payment-processing fees and tax stay separate.
Privacy by design
ClaimYourRank handles Fan Passport identity, invite records, imported supporter history, payment references and public creator community display with privacy boundaries.
Public Fan Season pages must not expose:
- imported emails
- raw CSV rows
- private creator notes
- private payment references
- Stripe IDs
- provider credentials
- signed media URLs
- private storage paths
Fan Passport visibility should support private, creator-visible, public or anonymous public states where the feature allows it.
Fan Import safety
Creators may import supporter history from Patreon, Ko-fi, Gumroad or CSV. Imported records should be reviewed before Passport claims or public recognition.
Unclear rows, missing emails, duplicate matches, unknown tiers or inactive fans should remain private until resolved. Importing old data should never surprise fans with a charge or active access change.
Content safety
Creators are responsible for their creator content, posts, media, offers, badges, recognition text and public statements.
ClaimYourRank may restrict or remove content that is illegal, abusive, misleading, infringing, unsafe, fraudulent, regulated, adult/NSFW outside supported policy, or otherwise violates platform rules.

Tax and fee transparency
ClaimYourRank separates creator offer price, ClaimYourRank platform fee, Stripe/payment fees, tax/VAT/GST/sales tax, optional payment-fee coverage, refunds and disputes.
ClaimYourRank does not charge its platform fee on tax amounts. ClaimYourRank does not promise that all creator tax obligations are solved. Stripe Tax may help calculate taxes where configured, but creators remain responsible for understanding their obligations.

Does claiming historical supporter history cost money?
No. A Passport claim invitation is not checkout and does not create a charge.
Does direct support unlock paid access?
No. Direct support is support only and has 0% ClaimYourRank platform fee. It does not unlock paid access by default.
